Our herberge is an extension of our main building of Brücke 49. It offers 3 grand suites between 80 and 120 sqm. Spacious, luxurious and a bit quirky apartments. A basecamp for kindred spirits of good design and relaxation.

Design Consultancy
Brücke 49 is renowned for it’s beautiful interior design, which has all been created by the owner Ruth Kramer. In addition to running the hotel, Ruth works on a number of interior design projects internationally. She is available for interior design consultancy of both private homes and larger commercial projects.

Surroundings
Located in the village of Vals situated in the high alps but not like any other mountain retreat. Vals is not like any other mountain retreat. Vals is like a tiny urban village, that exists on its own merits and by not abiding by the ever-changing trends of mass tourism. Vals is like a little dislocated “island” in the mountains.

Every morning in the pension you will be served freshly baked bread, local cheeses, eggs the way you prefer, tea and hot coffee not to mention organic yoghurt with our signature müsli.
Our guests in the apartments of the Herberge, will be greeted good morning with a bag of freshly baked bread hanging on their door.
